Demise of the Designated One Day Competition
Date of Event : Mon Dec 4, 2017 7:22PM

It is with regret that the NMCA has had to disband the Designated One Day Competition for the rest of the 2017-2018 season.

Major factors in this decision was the fact that Lalor Warriors players decided to play elsewhere which reduced the Competition to 3 teams.

Cameron have moved into the "F" Grade Central and this move eliminates the bye. There are now six teams in this grade.

Both Donath and West Ivanhoe United have move to the "F" Grade South, this increases the grade to six teams and we have re-introduced semi finals for this grade now there are six teams in it.

Whilst every effort to keep the Designated One Day Competition alive, three teams is not enough and if it proceeded, each of these teams would have at least four byes.
