VMCU Carnival Round 3 Update
Date of Event : Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:42PM

January is the best month to be playing cricket but unfortunately our normal club comp is on break until school starts back in Feb. However, for the lucky players who are currently representing the NMCA in the VMCU Carnival, it's been a great time for all our age groups, whether winning or just being able to participate.

The U12s have continued their winning streak, led by a spectacular day out by Harrison Smith - 5 wickets, a catch, a runout, and 12no. They currently sit 2nd on the ladder and there are a number of other teams sitting with 3 wins each.

The U14s bounced back after an unlucky loss yesterday and are now sitting 5th on the ladder. The team has been consistent with both bat and ball.

The U16s bowlers did a great job but the batting let us down today. However, the team still sits in the top four and Friday's match will be a big test.

Here are the results and stand out players for Round 3.
